Trailer: 300 Rise Of An Empire

The first trailer for 300: Rise Of An Empire was released on Wednesday night, and it’s jam-packed with shirtless Greeks, vengeful Persians, and a lot of bloodshed.

The sequel to 2006′s 300, starring Gerard Butler, Lena Headey and Rodrigo Santoro reprise their roles from the original, joined by Eva Green and Sullivan Stapleton.

The film is slated to hit theaters on the 7th of March 2014.

Nigeria: Scrap Plane Found In Filling Station

The scrap of an Evacuated aircraft was spotted this morning at a gas station in lagos. Rumor has earlier been spread that the said aircraft had crashed. 

The federal government issued a directive that all scrap aircraft be evacuated from all airports. The aircraft was spotted being towed along Mangoro and later seen at a gas station.

Why fast food is not fit for human consumption

While most people are aware that fast food is not the healthiest food around, they often choose to ignore it in favor of the convenience, taste or cost. However, fast food is far worse than most people are even remotely aware. In fact it's so bad, that it's simply not fit for human or even animal consumption. This is true not only because of the fat or sodium content, but because the animals themselves are often sick from malnutrition, diseased, cancer ridden or worse.

In 2002, author Eric Schlosser, a correspondent for the Atlantic Herald, came out with a ground breaking book called Fast Food Nation which takes us through a sordid maze of deception, cover up, lies, fraud and both animal and human cruelty that has unfortunately become all too common in the meat packing industry today. This was even turned into a 2006 movie release of the same name.
