Remodeled Kano International Airport to Be Commissioned on the 15/3/13

In line with President Jonathan's government policy of improving infrastructures across the country, some of the airports that were refurbished or remodeled are now ready for commissioning.In a brief from the Managing Director of FAAN, Mr. George Uriesi the ready-for-Commissioning Airports are as below.
 1] The remodeled Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport (MAIAK) will be commissioned tomorrow, March 15, 2013.

48 illegal schools shut in Enugu

 
Enugu State government, yesterday, ordered the closure of 48 private schools in Awgu Local Government Area for allegedly operating below standard and without approval.State Commissioner for Education, Dr. Simon Ortuanya, who announced the closure of the schools during an inspection tour of private and public schools, lamented that  the affected schools were not conducive for learning.

Senate To Restrict Rent Payment In FCT To Six Months

A bill to restrict the payment of rents to six months in the Federal Capital territory (FCT) was on Wednesday proposed in the Senate. The bill stipulates six months imprisonment or a fine of N50,000 or both for landlords that collect more than six months’ rent from a prospecting tenant.
