Weightlifting mother carry on extreme exercise routine at nine months pregnant

For most women, being eight and a half months pregnant means taking it easy, but for Lea-Anne Ellison, the reverse was the case.

The 35-year-old bodybuilder from Los Angeles has sparked an online storm after posting photos of herself lifting heavy weights on Facebook - with her due date just two weeks away.

Ellison, who also has a son aged eight and a daughter aged 12, says: 'I have always loved athletics and fitness.

Reason Nigeria Was Excluded From 2015 DV Lottery: U.S Consul-General

The United States Consul-General, Mr. Jeffery Hawkins, yesterday gave reasons Nigeria was excluded from the 2015 Diversity-Visa-Programme registration.

Hawkins told journalists at the U.S. Consulate General in Lagos, that Nigeria was among other countries that had in the last five years, sent more than 50,000 immigrants to the country through the programme.

“As at today, Nigerians have graduated from being under-represented to being a fully well represented group in the U.S.

“There is therefore no longer any need to encourage Nigerians to apply to travel to the U.S. through the Diversity-Visa-Programme. “Already there are too many Nigerians in the U.S. that have benefited from this programme,’’ he said.

115 Nigerian’s wished me suicide: Kemi Olunloyo

Kemi Olunloyo yesterday posted on her Facebook page that she will commit suicide if President Jonathan wins the presidential elections in 2015. She made joke of it but was shock by 115 responses from people wishing her dead and suggested different ways of committing suicide.
