Could excessive use of phone/tablet cause blindness?

Without doubt, the invention of smartphones and tablet has easy the stress in communicating and living. But, the effect of the excessive use of these gadgets cannot be disregarded.

A 26-year-old Chinese man risked going blind after suffering a retinal detachment as a result of excessive use of his smartphone texting his girlfriend constantly throughout the day and for several hours in the dark, in bed at night.

Scientists discover a 'mega-Earth' that is 2.3 times larger than Earth

First spotted by NASA’s Kepler space telescope, The newly discovered planet "Kepler-10c" dubbed a "mega-Earth" is about 2.3 times larger than Earth, 17 times as much mass as Earth, meaning it must be filled with rock and other materials much heavier than hydrogen and helium.

Earth, by comparison, is only around 4.5 billion years old. The Kepler-10 star system is an estimated 11 billion years old.

Nigerians own 70% of the houses on London’s most expensive street

The Philanthropist and Chairman, New Nation, an empowerment-oriented group, Mr. Charles Dukwe, claims that Nigerians own about 70 per cent of the most expensive buildings in London.

His assertion was made after unveiling the Queen of Compassion and Kill the Killers Initiative, a grass roots campaign against diabetes and high blood pressure.
