The estranged couple, who decided to end their marriage after only 72 days together, are currently in the middle of messy divorce proceedings, where Kris is seeking an annulment from the reality star on the grounds of fraud.
While Kim insists that their short-lived marriage was the real deal, new evidence suggests otherwise, supporting Kris’ claims that their romance was staged for TV.
Here’s what a just-released court deposition claims that could hurt Kim’s case:
She Fabricated Scenes: Kim asked mom Kris Jenner for advice about her marriage in Dubai on Keeping Up With the Kardashians, but a producer reveals the scene was shot after she’d already filed for divorce. On The View on Feb.6, Kris denied faking scenes.
She Faked Tears: Kris is trying to link Kim’s artificial TV meltdowns to his claim that she committed fraud when she married him. A producer reveals Kim uses a “tear stick” to cry on KUWTK.
She Re-shot the Proposal: Spontaneous moment? Hardly, claims a producer who says Kim wanted a second take when Kris popped the question! “She had a bad reaction or something and she was embarrassed. So she said can we just, like, have me come back in one more time and be, like, really surprised,” the deposition said.
So will all of these newly-surfaced claims hurt Kim's argument in court? It's very likely.
“The producer admits to faking, re-shooting and manipulating scenes,” a friend of Kris tells In Touch. “Anyone who loves someone would not team up with their production team to harm them.”
