In the agreement, the rights to her songs were sold. The 45-year-old R&B singer was given the opportunity to buy back her 27 songs for $20,000, but she faced being outbid by other interested parties.

A man named Ross M. Klein doubled the offer and bought songs. Among the 27 songs that were sold are some well-known hit songs, including "You're Making Me High," "How Many Ways," and "Always." 

This is not the first time Braxton filed for bankruptcy, but this time she lost a lot of her personal songs.
After 12-years of marriage, she divorced from her husband Keri Lewis. 
The split was said to be amicable. Lewis is the father of her two sons, Diezel, 10, and Denim, 11. They share custody of the children.
