A popular female WIN News newscaster caused controversy after accidentally telling her audience “tonight I am going to sound like a drunk,” as reads the headlines.

WIN News issued a statement after the incident saying: "Kerryn Johnson usually sets a very high standard for herself. For her to go on air when she had no intention of it, has been more than embarrassing for her. 

Kerryn has presented the news for more than two decades and has never been involved in anything like this before. We are sure that our viewers will understand."
