LUIS SUAREZ has apologised after BITING Branislav Ivanovic.

The Liverpool striker was involved in a tussle with the Serbian defender in the second half of the Reds' 2-2 draw with Chelsea.

Suarez grabbed hold of the defender's arm and sank his teeth into him — the second time in his career he has been caught taking a chunk out of an opponent.

The FA are set to investigate the incident tomorrow despite the Uruguayan posting an apology on Twitter and Liverpool releasing a statement condemning their star player.

Obasanjo Had a Killer Squad As President – Former Associate

A former associate of ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo, Mr. Richard Odusanya, on Saturday alleged that the former chairman of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party’s Board of Trustees was in charge of a killer squad that was formed under the military regime of late Gen. Sani Abacha.

Odusanya reportedly worked behind the scenes when Obasanjo was in power.

In a live interview, with an online news portal, Sahara Reporters, Odusanya  alleged that the former President lodged the killer squad at a State Security Service headquarters, known as ‘Yellow House.’

He appeared on the programme alongside Mr. Segun  Seriki, a PDP member in Ogun State and a member of the House of Representatives in the Third Republic, under the Social Democratic Party.

The report claims Mourinho gave a talk to coaches at his sons football club, Canillas, on Monday afternoon where he not only shared his wisdom on all things football but he also confirmed that he will not be at Real Madrid next season. The Portuguese boss was asked if he could come back to do another talk next year, to which Mourinho replied: “To come back next year will be difficult. Former Benue State Deputy Governor Ajene dies in London hospital

Reports reaching our newsdesk, indicate that former Deputy Governor Former Deputy Governor of Benue State, Prince Ogiri Ajene is dead.

According to the report, Ajene who was Akume’s deputy between 1999-2007, passed on in London after a brief illness.

11-year old boy nabbed attempting to set mosque ablaze in Abuja

The Nyanya Police Division yesterday afternoon arrested an 11-year-old boy (names withheld) for allegedly trying to set ablaze the Area B/C Mosque, near Customs Quarters in Nyanya, Abuja.

According to Zubairu Mohammed – Imam of the mosque, the boy had earlier set fire to one of the Mosque’s Qur’anic classrooms without knowing that a security man was sleeping inside and had noticed the fire.

He said the security man after putting off the fire, sighted the boy holding a gallon of fuel as well as a box of matches near the main Mosque and apprehended him.
