Gay RIGHT: Senators Reject Commonwealth Gay Law.

The Senate of Federal Republic of Nigeria said Commonwealth of Nations laws are not binding on Nigeria.
The Senate said this yesterday while reacting to the recent signing by Queen Elizabeth of a new Commonwealth Charter that embraces universal human rights, including homosexuality, for all Commonwealth citizens.
The Senators stated that the law will not be recognized in Nigeria, as there is a standing bill passed to make it an offense to have a gay or Lesbian Marriage in Nigeria.
