Lukman Mukthar Shagari, the second son of the Deputy
Governor of Sokoto State, Alhaji Mukthar Shagari, died yesterday in a horrific
road accident. The 28-year-old Muhthar it was reported was on his way to Sokoto from his base in Abuja when he lost control of the car which he was driving. Luqman and a friend simply named as Ghaddaffi died instantly. A third friend at the back miraculously survived the accident.
