Michael Jackson's family law suit against AEG begins



Jury selection began on Tuesday for a long-awaited trial in which Michael Jackson's mother is seeking billions of dollars from tour promoters she blames for her son's 2009 death. 
Katherine Jackson, 82, accuses AEG Live of negligently hiring doctor Conrad Murray to look after her son as he rehearsed in Los Angeles for a doomed series of London shows. 

Murray, jailed after being convicted of involuntary manslaughter in 2011 for giving the singer an overdose of the drug Propofol, could be called to testify, although he may refuse to do so. 

Samoa Airline To Charge Overweight Passengers More



Samoa Air has become the world's first airline to implement "pay as you weigh" flights, meaning overweight passengers pay more for their seats.

"This is the fairest way of travelling," chief executive of Samoa Air, Chris Langton said.

Explosion Rocks MR BIGGS Karu-Abuja



The residents of Karu, a satellite town of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) who were in the mood of Easter Celebration, were thrown into pandemonium on Monday evening, when an explosion suspected to be from a waste can rocked an empty and undeveloped plot of land behind the MR. Fake NYSC Orientation Camp Discovered In Nasarawa State



62 fake Youth Corpers were discovered somewhere in Nassarawa State at a fake orientation camp by members of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defense Corps.

The fake Corpers said they paid certain individuals who secured the NYSC uniform and other accessories for them. They engaged in the three weeks orientation programme before being sent to the market.
