FCTA bans mini-buses (Araba) from Abuja today

The Federal Capital Territory Administration, FCTA, will today commence the implementation its new transport policy that is aimed at providing efficient transport operation within the territory.

The policy, which begins with the deployment of 350 high capacity buses in various parts of the territory, will facilitate the phasing out of mini-buses from the city.

Female Israeli soldiers punished after posting nude photos on the internet

Several female Israeli soldiers were charged after posting nude photos of themselves on the internet, according to a statement released by Israeli military officials.

Now, the Israeli Army said it has punished a group of female soldiers, who posed for pictures wearing sexy lingerie while holding their automatic military weapons, and posting the images to Facebook.

In a statement, the military said this week that the photos were inappropriate for an Israeli soldier. "The commanding officers disciplined all the soldiers involved,” he said.
