A Commercial driver and a conductor strip naked to avoid arrest in Lagos, Nigeria

A commercial bus driver and his conductor this morning stripped naked at the Allen Avenue/Obafemi Awolowo Way roundabout in Ikeja to prevent some policemen (seen in the pic) from towing their vehicle and arresting them for alleged traffic violation.

Their stunt caused heavy traffic around the area this morning, surprisingly the policemen left the scene quickly. This is weird.

The Minister of Youth Development, Inuwa Abdulkadir was fired yesterday Monday August 26th. The termination of the appointment of the lawyer and ex-Attorney - General and Commissioner of Justice in Sokoto state was announced in a statement released to the Media by the Secretary to the Federal Government, Anyim Pius Anyim in Abuja yesterday.

The reason for his sack is yet to be disclosed. 

SSS grills the mother of the boy who flew under Arik plane tyre hole

According to a report by Punch Newspaper, the mother of the 14-year-old boy who successfully flew in the tyre compartment a Lagos-bound Arik flight from Benin airport on Saturday morning, was yesterday Monday August 26th grilled for hours by a combined team of security operatives from the Department of State Security Service and aviation security.

The mother, Evelyn Ohikhena said:

“My son answers Daniel in school and Ricky at home. I went to my elder sister’s place who put to bed and when I got home the next morning (Saturday), I couldn’t find him. My daughter told me that they quarrelled in the night because he woke at midnight to watch movies and she told him to stop watching movie in the night and she said he eventually slept in the parlour while she said she went back to sleep in the room.
