Earlier this evening in Abuja Honourable Dino Melaye escaped an assassination attempt on his life as he was heading to his Wuse home.

DailyPost was able to speak with him briefly and he confirmed he was with the SSS at the moment, before handing us over to the Director of Planning and Strategy for Anti-Corruption Network, a movement he is at the forefront of and here is what he said:

Drake Wants to End Chris Brown Feud, Says Singer Is Insecure Because Rihanna "Fell Into My Lap"

Drake is taking the high road—kinda—when it comes to his feud with Chris Brown.

In an interview with online radio show Keep It Thoro on Friday, the rapper tried to be diplomatic when the topic of Breezy (and Rihanna) came up.

"Don't ask me s--t  about that man when I come up there, and leave that man alone," Drake said. "Stop preying on his insecurities."

"His insecurities are the fact that I make better music than him, that I'm more popping than him and that at one point in life the woman that he loves fell into my lap," Drake continued.

Deadly blasts near Boston Marathon; Several injured

 Blasts near the finish line of the Boston Marathon killed two people and injured 22 others Monday, Boston police said.

The marathon itself, on its Facebook page, referred to the blasts as bombs. Authorities did not say immediately what caused the explosions.

Massachusetts General Hospital said it was treating 19 injured people; Tufts Medical Center reported that some injured were to be treated there as well.

The explosions sent smoke billowing into the air at Copley Square, turning a site of celebration into a mess of destruction.

Nigeria to resume gas supply to Ghana, others

The West Africa Gas Pipeline Company will resume gas flow through its pipeline on April 30, 2013.

The company's General Manager, Corporate Affairs, Mrs. Harriet Wereko-Brobby, said this at the Lagos Beach Compressor Station in Badagry on Friday.

'We are looking at April 30, 2013 for the pipeline to be back,' she said.

20-Year-Old Nigerian Sets Record; Graduates As Youngest Commercial Licence Pilot

A 20-year-old Nigerian, Favour Odozor, has emerged as the youngest with the Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) in both Nigeria and South Africa.

Mr. Odozor who graduated alongside 15 other trained pilots at the Afrika Union Aviation Academy (AUAA), Mafikeng, South Africa on Saturday was described as the new hope of the African aviation industry. Capt. Allan Roebuck, Director of AUAA, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Johannesburg that Mr. Odozor completed all the 37 flying procedures in record time.

Right engine of British Airways plane stops working before take-off at Abuja Airport

BA 8:30 flight to London was preparing to take off when the right engine of the plane stopped working. They heard a noise and then smoke. The plane had to be towed back to the tarmac.

All effort made to fix the flight engine after 40min was impossible. The flight was later cancelled and the passengers waits as they were being refreshed.

Kevin Hart Arrested for Alleged DUI, Tweets "This Is a Wake-Up Call for Me"

Kevin Hart isn't laughing about this. 

The California Highway Patrol confirms to E! News that the comedian was arrested under suspicion of DUI around 4:30 a.m. today after officers spotted Hart driving erratically at a high rate of speed and witnessed him almost colliding with a gas tanker truck. He was pulled over after failing a field sobriety test and was arrested.

The actor was held at Van Nuys jail on $5,000 bond but was subsequently released and took to Twitter to discuss the incident.

Pope Francis Appoints New Bishop For Catholic Diocese Of Nsukka

Pope Francis has appointed Monsignor Godfrey Onah as the new Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Nsukka, Enugu State, a church official said.

Rev. Fr. Chuma Nnamene, the Director of Social Communication in Nsukka Catholic Diocese, said Onah would succeed retiring Bishop Francis Okobo.

Nnamene said Onah was before his appointment the Vice-Rector at the Pontifical Urban University, Rome.

Moses Obi-Adigwe wins Nigerian Idol Season 3
