The minister of Education, Prof Ruqayyat Rufai, while briefing State
House Correspondents in the Federal Executive Council weekly
meeting yesterday announced that from now on, any students caught in exams malpractice
will face a five year jail term or N200,000 fine or both.
The new law
states: “(Any candidate caught cheating) shall not take or be allowed to take
or continue the examination; in addition, he shall be prohibited from taking
any examination held or conducted by or on behalf of the Council for a period
of two years immediately following upon such contraventions. If a candidate abovementioned
has already taken any papers at the examination, his result shall be cancelled.

Women in South Korea seem to like the idea of having their face altered so they have a permanent smile on their faces.
The procedure is called "Smile Lipt," combining the words lip and lift. According to a promotional video released by the Aone Plastic & Aesthetic Surgery center, the goal of the procedure is to create "a pleasant and memorable impression" that is "bright and gentle."

A 5 year old Chinese boy has amazed people around the world as he was seen on video flying a plane. The boy is officially the youngest pilot.
He Yide, nicknamed Duoduo, of Nanjing, China, made a 35 minute flight over the Beijing Wildlife Park on Saturday.
The child was accompanied by an instructor inside a 100 kilo aircraft called Bee 3 as he controlled the plane himself.
