Google translator now has Nigeria language “Yoruba, Hausa and Igbo”

Google Translate, a free automatic language translation service by Google has added the three major Nigerian languages, Yoruba, Hausa and Igbo to its Google Translate.


Google translate already has 71 languages. Other African languages included are South African Zulu and Somali Language.

Man’s hand saved after being attached to his ankle

Xiao Wei’s, from Changde, south-central China. lost his right hand in an industrial accident at work. In order to stop Wei’s severed hand from dying, his hand was attached to his ankle for a month before doctors successfully reattached it to his arm.

He said: ‘I was just shocked and frozen at the spot, until co-workers unplugged the machine and retrieved my hand and took me to the hospital’.

South Africa unveiled Nelson Mandela’s giant unity statue in Pretoria

A day after Nelson Mandela’s was buried; South Africa unveiled a giant 30-foot bronze statue of the icon. The unity statue was unveiled yesterday, December 16th on the lawns of the Union Buildings, which is the seat of government in Pretoria.
