Former beauty queen cum Nollywood actress, Regina Askia was spotted on Friday at Iyanya’s concert in New York.
The mother of three who relocated to the United States with her husband several years ago took to her Facebook page during the week to reminisce on her past accomplishments.
Regina who trained and now works as a nurse in the United States is looking forward to reopening her day care over there.
Writing on her facebook page, she expressed her fustration each time she tries to recount her story to some of her American friends who wouldn’t believe her.

WOMEN who wear bras
have SAG boobs than women who don’t, according to a new study.
Scientists in
France found that bras give no benefit at all in “denying breasts gravity” and
claim the underwear is just a “false necessity”.
The research
suggests wearing a bra could actually be sending our busts southwards, and does
little to ease back pain.
Professor
Jean-Denis Rouillon, from the University of Besancon, led the 15-year study
into women’s breasts.

Ogun Signs MoU With Chinese Company To Build Monorail

The Ogun State Government has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU)
on light rail mass transit with the China Civil Engineering Construction
Company (CCECC) that will link major cities in the state as well as boost its
economy.
While signing the MoU in his Oke-Mosan Office in Abeokuta, the state Governor; Mr Ibikunle Amosun said this became necessary in order to reposition the state for economic development and prosperity.

Secret documents link family and associates of one of Africa's most popular pastors, Nigerian televangelist the Rev. Chris Oyakhilome, to an offshore company in the British Virgin Islands.
A business associate of the pastor says some directors in the company held shares on behalf of the pastor's daughters, Sharon and Charlyn, who are now teenagers.
The company in question is Gmobile Nigeria Limited, an offshore firm incorporated in 2007 in a Caribbean tax haven, the British Virgin Islands, according to a cache of documents reviewed by Premium Times and the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists (ICIJ).

LAGOS — INDICATIONS emerged, yesterday, that the Federal Government may have soft-pedaled on the scrapping of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB, examination, UTME; and the National Examinations Council, NECO, as recommended by the Mr. Steve Oransoye-led committee, which had generated mixed reactions.
This came as apprehension gripped over 2,000 workers of JAMB, who may lose their jobs if the recommendations by the committee on the restructuring of the Federal Government agencies and parastatals are implemented.

Plans are on the way for a gradual phasing out of the voters card to be replaced by the National Identity Cards in future elections in the country.
Minister of Information, Labaran Maku who disclosed this after the Federal Executive Council meeting yesterday revealed that the council also approved the sum of N2.1billion for the printing of 33.5 million Permanent Voters Card by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.
