A man decided to take care of a big bear on his own after the bear threatened to harm his flock.


The man, who is a shepherd, allegedly killed a grizzly bear with his bare hands when it charged at him while tending his flock.

Blazo Grkovic put the bear in a choke hold and strangled it to death, despite the fact that it attacked him with its paws and attempted to bite him.

“I grabbed him around the throat and squeezed and squeezed until it collapsed,” the man from Bosnia said.

Kim Kardashian has a “dangerous addiction,” reports a new cover story fromIn Touch, which claims the reality star has been getting “plastic surgery while pregnant!”

The mag notes that Kardashian recently tweeted a photo of her mouth with the caption, “My pregnancy lips are outta control,” but alleges her “bee-stung lips” are totally “unnatural.”

A so-called “source” tells the tab, “She’s still getting injections even though she’s seven months pregnant,” explaining, “She’s becoming more neurotic than ever about her looks.”

Campaigners claiming to be part of the hacking protest group Anonymous have published contact details of senior English Defence League members online after posting a video vowing to bring down the organisation, it has been reported.

Sharp-eyed UFO fan (with an excitable imagination) claims to spot a LIZARD on Mars

A science blogger with a keen sense of vision claims to have spotted a lizard meandering around Mars. 

The unknown spotter is from Japan and alerted the website, UFO Sightings Daily, of the unusual sight. 

The rather unbelievable and completely unsubstantiated claim has caused some excitable conspiracy theorists to fear that the NASA could be planting life on the planet for scientific testing.

The creature, judged to be either a rat or lizard, appeared in photos that were released by the American space agency in March. 

Feds Shut Down 'Liberty Reserve'

In what could be a bad sign for the future of Bitcoin, the feds have shut down Liberty Reserve, a virtual currency exchange system that prosecutors claim was a $6-billion money-laundering scheme designed to help criminals and hackers conceal the origin of their illicit money.

Liberty Reserve is a Costa Rica-based online payment network that U.S. authorities dubbed the "financial hub of the cyber-crime world." According to the indictment (.PDF) unsealed on Tuesday, the service was one of the world's largest digital currency systems with more than 1 million users and more than 12 million transactions.
