Monalisa Chinda Says She Regrets Being Divorced

In an interview with Showtime Celebrity, the actress talks about the fact that she would love to remarry and doesn’t really like being a single mother. The actress however, is in no rush to tie the knot though she confesses to having a man in her life. She added that she had tried to make her first marriage work but it didn’t.

Monalisa, whose third movie, Weekend Getaway premiered about two weeks ago, regrets being a divorcee but prefers that to exposing her child to domestic violence.

The busy actress is working on a Perfume and a range of Beauty products.

9,660 Lagos residents tested HIV positive within one year – Lagos health commissioner

The Lagos government on Tuesday disclosed that 9,660 people living in the state tested positive to HIV in the last one year.

The commissioner for Health, Dr. Jide Idris disclosed this while briefing newsmen on the activities of his ministry to commemorate the sixth year of Governor Babatunde Fashola’s administration.

He said his ministry is making efforts at reducing the spread of the deadly disease by distributing 520,000 male and female condoms across the state.

Imo state Governor: Okorocha returns to Imo, gives N200k to the driver that hit him

Imo State Governor Rochas Okorocha returned to the state yesterday after about a week in a UK hospital where he went for treatment following the April 19th car accident he was involved in on Orlu-Owerri Road in Imo State.

The driver of the Mercedes Benz that rammed into the governor’s car, Mr Osita Nnewuihe, was given N200, 000 yesterday by Okorocha to repair his damaged car. Mr Nnewuihe had been arrested and detained by the police for about a week before he was released on the governor's orders.

Lil Wayne Hospitalized For Having Another Seizure

After he was spotted sitting courtside at a Lakers game earlier this week, Lil Wayne is back in the hospital after suffering yet another seizure.

Lil Wayne was hospitalized again for a seizure … TMZ has learned.

Sources close to Wayne tell us … the rapper was taken to Cedars-Sinai in L.A. late Tuesday night by his bodyguards.   We’re told he suffered a single seizure and was treated and released early this morning.

DELSU Student Hacks Into Gov. Uduaghan's Phone

A 400-level medical student of Delta State University, DELSU, Abraka, in Delta State, has been arrested by the police for allegedly hacking into Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan’s phone.

The student, who failed in pharmacology and pathology course sent a text message, purportedly from the governor, to the Vice Chancellor, Prof Eric Arubayi, requesting him to upgrade his scores.

Vanguard gathered that enraged Govenor Uduaghan asked the vice chancellor to report the matter to the police and ensure the student was arrested when the matter was brought to his knowledge, as he never sent such message.

Pa Taiwo Akinkunmi (MON) is presumably a household name in Nigeria being the great intellectual who designed the Nigerian flag at the age of 25 while he studied in London.
