Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) stops Polymer Currency Note: Paper Note coming soon

The move came due to compliant that polymer currency note fade away with time. People who take public transport or those who buy or sell goods in the market can testify to it.

Here is what the Deputy Government of CBN Tunde Lemo said in a recent interview:

We will start to produce the second generation of lower denominaton notes, now in paper not in polymer. My plea is that Nigerians should exercise patience with us. It wasn’t CBN fault; we just had to go back on our drawing board to rethink. Polymer certainly will be phased out.

  3. Most Facebook users are teenagers who do not have a lot of money to
spend. While that mantra may have worked for Kevin Costner in "Field of Dreams," it doesn't necessarily work for
credit union websites. See the action on the left hand column of the home page.
