Video: I6 years Teen with rare condition which leaves her looking like 50 years old

The teenager suffered from a rare genetic condition that makes her skin age quickly, now has a new life after a face lift surgery.

Zara Hartshorn, 16, from Rotherham, South Yorkshire, United Kingdom, has endured years of cruel taunts and even physical attacks because of her appearance. The bullying became so severe that her mother had to pull her out of school.


The young girl inherited the condition known as lip dystrophy, which makes skin look wrinkled.  

The surgery proved be a success. With her new looks, Hartshorn is feeling much more confident and was able to start a relationship with her new boyfriend Ricky Andrews

But now, thanks to Dr. Abhimanyu Garg, Hartshorn feels good about her looks. She is ready to leave the past behind, forgive her tormentors and live a fulfilling life.
