Bianka Johnson, sent out a press statement today where she disclosed how
high life crooner Flavour and Morgan Ent. CEO Emeka Morgan, abandoned MC Loph’s
mother (pictured above with Bianca) after her son died in a tragic accident
in 2011.
Flavour and MC
Loph were childhood friends while Emeka Morgan is the CEO of the record label
MC Loph was signed to before his tragic passing.

The family of late singer Sunny Okosuns has disowned
claims by former beauty queen and Nigeria project director, Exquisite Face of
Africa, Ethel ‘Okosuns’; insisting she is not a daughter to the late singer and legend Sunny Okosuns.
Ethel who was Miss Earth 2005 is known by associates with the surname ‘Okosuns’ and in September 2013, had granted an interview to Vanguard during which she repeatedly flashed back to memories she held of her ‘father’ Sunny Okosuns, describing him as a man with a large heart, whom she misses and continues to draw inspiration from.
But the Okosuns family in a statement exclusively made available to Vanguard and signed by the singer’s son, Sidney Ehimare Okosuns disowns these birth legitimacy Ethel presents.

Emeka Ike is one
of the actors who has been in the movie industry in Nigeria and still wields

In an
interview with Nigerian Films, Emeka reveals why some movie producers and
directors hate him in the industry. He said, his stand on not allowing up and
coming actresses to be used for séx-for-movie roles has made him to be hated in
the film industry in Nigeria.
“If you
knock at their office and you can’t sleep with them, you won’t be allowed to
act. Is it fair to tell a girl that ‘if I don’t sleep with you, you won’t get
my favour?’ if God does that to us, where would we be today?

American man, Tim Friede "The venom man" claims to have built
immune body system to snake venom and injection after subjecting himself to 100
bites from the world's most poisonous snakes.
He released pictures that show him taking
and surviving a bite from a water cobra and was so confident he allowed a
deadly black mamba to bite him.
The venom from a black mamba would
ordinarily kill anyone within 20 minutes but the 45-year-old shows hardly any
ill effects and believes the ordeals he is putting himself through will help
develop anti-venoms for the third-world.

A Nigerian-based financial magazine “Ventures
Africa Magazine” has revealed an updated list of the 55 billionaires in Africa.
The
combined fortune of Africa’s 55 billionaires is $143.88 billion. The average
net worth of the members of this exclusive club is $2.6 billion, while the
median age of the richest people in Africa is 65 years. The oldest billionaires
are Kenyan industrialist, Manu Chandaria, and Egyptian property tycoon,
Mohammed Al-Fayed, both aged 84. The youngest billionaires are Mohammed Dewji
of Tanzania and Igho Sanomi, a Nigerian oil trader. They are both 38 years old.
Nigeria,
South Africa and Egypt lead the pack with the highest number of billionaires at
20, nine and eight respectively. Algeria, Angola, Zimbabwe and Swaziland only
have one billionaire each. In all, there are 10 African countries represented
on the list.

The Nigerian Civil Aviation
Authority (NCAA) has suspended the operations of Dana Airline again. The
suspension was announced on Sunday night October 6th by the Coordinating
General Manager for the aviation parastatals, Mr. Yakubu Dati.
The NCAA said it shut Dana’s operations to enable it conduct an operational audit of the carrier and its planes. This suspension makes it the third time the NCAA would ground Dana Air over safety and other related issues since the crash of Dana flight 992 that killed over 150 passengers in June 2012.

New study: Too much or little sleep can make you ill

study of more than 50,000 people imply that people who sleep too much (more
than 10 hours) or too little sleep are more likely to develop a range of
physical and psychological conditions including coronary heart disease,

New automotive Policy: Nigeria FG to end Importation of used cars (Tokunbo)

The Federal
Executive Council (FEC) Wednesday approved a new automotive policy aimed at
transforming Nigeria's automotive industry.
It also
approved N39 billion for the rehabilitation and expansion of some roads in
the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
The approval
of a new automotive policy, according to Minister of Information, Labaran Maku,
was sequel to the proposal brought to the council by the Minister of Industry,
Trade and Investment, Dr. Olusegun Aganga, seeking the nod for the policy
to transform the Nigerian automotive industry and attract investment into
the sector.

Breaking news: Plane carry 20 passenger Crashes at Lagos Airport this morning

An n Airplane belonging to Associated Airlines crashed
at the Lagos Airport as it was obout taking off this morning. According to eye witnesses, the crashed happened at the local wing of the
Muritala Muhammad Airport.
It is
reported that the plane was carrying a family and the body of former governor
of Ondo state Olusegun Agagu to his funeral.
An
eye witness said:
"The
plane couldn't lift properly so it just came down". "Some persons are
being rushed to hospital. A few dead bodies have been recovered, but there are
survivors."
Twenty people were said to be on board the
Akure-bound flight.
