Lagos State Governor Babatunde
Fashola claims his management is committed to boosting the transportation
system in the state.
Fashola stated this after checking
automated washing machines of LAGBUS at Olusosun, Ojota.
He included that operating
effective city buses in a country where such buses were not made was not a
simple activity.
Fashola pointed out:
1. But
we will continue to strive to optimize the maintenance and improve
the bus services for the benefit of the public.
2. Before
now we used to wash the buses manually and of course a lot of time was
consumed, resulting in delay in the service delivery.
“So, we thought about procuring
these machines; and of course there are other challenges of installation. There
were five that we found locally that could not do the job and so on and so
forth.”
